A few years ago, throw-back jerseys were big in some circles. Now, that time has passed, an amazing site called “Straight Cash Homey” is collecting photos of people wearing throw-away jerseys. I like to call these shirts “throw-aways” for obvious reasons.
The site is brilliant and is full of people wearing jerseys of random players who played on teams for short and/or forgettable tenures. This new brad of fans wear the shirts in normal situations, which include getting arrested, shopping, or at ball games. Think of these photos like “Stars They’re Just Like Us,” but at a bargain basement price, while the dude is wearing a Latrell Sprewell, Minnesota Timberwolves “throw away.”
Those that are down with the Internets know what a tumblr is, Straight Cash Homey,
