Evan Longoria is the A.L.’s final All-Star selection, receiving 9 million votes for the AL..’s last spot. His Tampa Bay Rays are in first place and this guy is getting the credit he deserves for having a great season. Longoria is legit, and will forfit his trip to Vegas with his buddies, for the game at Yankee Stadium.
Corey Hart received the N.L.’s final slot and his brew crew teammates celebrated by dousing him with champagne upon hearing the news. The Brewers and their fans are fired up this season and I think they’ll take the wild card in the east. The team at Accuscore is giving the Brewers a 62% chance of making the playoffs this season. That’s not far off base, and considering that they picked -up C.C. Sabathia.
