In case you missed it – Cowboys QB Tony Romo threw out the first pitch and sang “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at the Cubs/Diamondbacks game on Sunday. He was booed after firing the opening game pitch, and you can make out some boos at the beginning of this video of him singing at the 7th inning stretch.
I have a feeling that the majority of Cubs fans would rather have seen Jessica Simpson, his beau, throw out the first pitch instead of the QB.
Tony Romo went to Eatern Illinois and grew-up a Packers fan. While sitting in with the Cubs broadcasters in the 7th inning, he said he became a Cubs fan while attending college in Illinois. He plays for “America’s Team” but would barely qualify for “American Idol.” And Tony Romo does not Throw Like a Girl.
