T.O. and Flava Flav: Not Must See TV

Terrell Owens “Loves Me Some Me” and is guest-starring on a MyNetworkTV show starring Flavor Flav. Who cares? Public Enemy was cool back in the day, but now Flava Flav is credible as Ronald McDonald. He’s a walking billboard for what’s wrong with TV. His Central Roast had it’s moments, but he needs to stick to “Fighting the Power” with Chuck D.

Jason Whitlock says it much better than I can. His social commentary is dead-on. For the whole story – read his interview at The Big Lead. Here is a highlight:

I guess I’ll go Bill Cosby on you, but it’s about time we as black people quit letting Flavor Flav and the rest of these clowns bojangle for dollars. There’s going to be a new civil-rights movement among black people and the people bojangling for dollars are going to be put in check.

Jason’s blog is at Whitlock’s Real Talk

And getting back to T.O. – We’ll say we knew you when. I’m not rushing to TIVO this one.
