Bigger, Stronger, Faster debuts this weekend in NYC an L.A. It’s a hard-hitting Morgan Spurlock style documentary which appeared in Sundance in 2008. The documentary film is directed by Christopher Bell and is about the use of steroids as performance-enhancing drugs in the United States.
Baron’s Review of a Movie He Hasn’t Seen
The film raises great points that everyone’s cheating in sports, and the likes of Ben Johnson, Hulk Hogan, and Arnod Schwaneggaer were keeping up with the competition when they juiced on roids. The film is saying that sometimes winners cheat, and it’s the American way. That doesn’t make it right, but unfortunately sports are riddled with steroids. How do we keep kids wanting to win their little league games, while also teaching them that winnning isn’t everything when all their heros are cheating. It’s a thought-provoking film and gets a Baron recommendation for you die-hard documentary fans.
