Almost every Texan I’ve met thinks that Texas has the biggest steaks, the biggest capitol (this is true), and now the biggest stadium. Sports By Brooks is blogging that Texas Stadium will now house a $25 million scoreboard in it’s $1.1 billion entertainment center. Fans will also be able to watch Tony Romo from the parking lot on two large LCD that will be placed on the sides of the stadiums for fans who don’t have tickets.
“The Mitsubishi-built scoreboard will be 60 yards long and weight about 1.2 million pounds, promising to be the world’s largest high-definition LED display. But unlike most football scoreboards that are usually placed behind end zones, this $25 million monitor will be hovering directly over the field.”
